  • Annual CWHBA Young Breeders Qualifier Competition

On September 17, 2016 the Alberta chapter of the CWHBA was once again the host of the annual Young Breeders open qualifier competition. The event was held at Horse in Hand Ranch, located in Blackfalds, Alberta and was run in conjunction with the Alberta chapter breeders show. Five competitors attended the competition on site, and two competitors participated in the online electronic competition. Everyone did great, and scores were once again all very close. Grace Arnburg from Alberta was the overall champion of the Showmanship portion of the competition, and took home the Arkansas Memorial Showmanship trophy. Senior competitor Tara Landsbergen from Alberta took the overall champion title from the competition, and junior competitor Isis Landsbergen was our top junior competitor and overall reserve champion of the competition. Congratulations! We look forward to having you all continue to work towards representing the CWHBA in the IYB championships next year!
